Smartphones Accessories Future-As smartphones are developing, it’s clear that all of our accessories have to evolve to match them as well, but how will they develop in the future? We take a look and give you a sneak-peek into the future!
Fuel Cells/Green Chargers
Definitely a possibility considering our current use of non-renewable energy sources, charging our phones by solar power or by fuel cell could prove a necessity, rather than a fancy feature if we continue to use up all of our fossil fuels.
We haven’t seen any of these types of chargers just yet, but you could expect them towards the end of this decade if we continue working hard enough to improve the tech.
Wireless Charging
This is something we’ve seen become quite prevalent over the past couple of years, with some smartphones jumping on to the bandwagon for more of a gimmick than a genuine use.
We saw a wireless charger bowl at CES in Las Vegas to kick off the year, and this could definitely be a great idea, charging all of our devices together, at once, without having to deal with all those pesky wires.
Super-Fast Charging Batteries
At the moment it takes a decent chunk of time to get your smartphone back to its full juice, but imagine if it only took 15 minutes?
Whilst this is an optimistic shout, we could see batteries develop to this point in the future, making overnight charging a thing of the past.
Iris Scanners
We can use our fingerprints to unlock our phones, so why not our eyes?
This technology was mooted for the Samsung Galaxy S5, but is now looking more likely for a later model, possibly the S6?
It would certainly make our phones more secure, having to scan its users eye to grant access past the lock screen, deterring friends from the classic Facebook barrage when you leave your phone unattended.
Motion Chargers
Don’t have time to leave your phone on charge at home? Then why not charge it by walking around with it in your pocket?
It might be a long way off, but it is a possibility. By walking around, we’d not only be improving our personal health, but also keeping our phones in tip-top shape as well.
Multiple OS Handsets
Recent manufacturers have thought about allowing multiple systems on phones, with one really taking the idea on, the Geeksphone Revolution.
If you could take your pick between each OS it would certainly make picking a smartphone far easier.
This one may face more problems between developers rather than technology holding it back, but it could be a common feature in the future.
Medical Stylus’
It sounds like a stylus for doctors, but in fact it is a stylus that links to your personal body heat, judging your current state of health.
It gives you a full rundown of your general health and informs you of how to improve it, all on your smartphone.
It’s a simple idea but very tough to implement, so we could be waiting a while for this one we’re afraid.
